Abstract

The synthesis of metal nanoparticles is a growing area of research interest due to its potentiality in the application and development of advanced technologies such as drug delivery application, energy production, and material science and in reaction engineering. Facile synthesis of nanoparticles using plant parts is an Eco compatible approach that connects the nanotechnology and its applications in varied fields. The basic idea behind this principle lies in the presence of phytochemicals which serves as reducing agents for the synthesis of these nanoparticles. Here in we present a green method based on biological reducing property cum stabilizing property (capping agent) of plant parts for the synthesis of Zinc oxide nanoparticle (ZnO-NP’s).
