Kanakadasa's Mohana Tharangini is hailed as one of the greatest poetic work. In this work kanakadasa has seen the devil and the diety from a different prospective, of the Trinity Vishnu and Shiva are seen as the symbol of harmony. Shiva in this work stands by the demon as could be seen through the episodes of Shambhasur and Banasura.
