Electromagnetic radiations(EMR) are present on earth since its origin. It is commonly called the electromagnetic wave spectrum, consisting of very long radio-waves at the proximal end and X-rays, gamma rays at the distal end. Every living and non-living object in nature is constantly exposed to natural electromagnetic radiations, that come from space and also from the radioactive elements in the Earth’s crust. A large proportion of these cosmic radiations are absorbed by the atmosphere and only a very small portion reaches the earth surface. However, there is no filtering of radiations originating from the earth or produced anthropogenically.
