Abstract

“The idea of Dharma can be categorized into two concepts, one being a normative concept and the other being how it regulates the day-to-day activities of individuals in their social and personal life, it defines the duties of individuals towards the society, towards their family, towards life and God. The authority for Dharma, such as everything else, was said to be the Vedas. Different sources were said to lay on this sole authority.
