Abstract

Angiotensin Converting Enzyme is a part of renin-angiotensin system. It was observed that renin-angiotensin system is badly disturbed during hypertension and cardiovascular diseases. The ACE inhibitors and Angiotensin Receptor Binders play vital role [ 1 ] in the recovery of these patients. The Angiotensin Converting Enzymes are isolated from the crystal structure “3SCI” taken from RCSB Protein Data Bank. It is classified as viral protein and deposited by Wu, Peng and others [ 2 ]. In this paper, we investigated the binding interaction of ACE Inhibitors Perindopril, Trandolapril and Moexipril with human receptor ACE2. The various parameters like binding energy, root mean square deviation, inhibition constant and intermolecular energy are examined. In addition to this various hydrophobic and hydrogen bond interactions of ligands with protein molecule were interpreted to predict the best suitable drug molecule.
