The Soil physico-chemical properties always keep on changing due to weathering conditions, agricultural operations. Soil properties, such as pH, EC, organic carbon and micronutrients have been measured from Ghatanji Taluka, Yavatmal District, Maharashtra in the year 2020. These properties have been correlated with the ultrasonic velocity of the water soluble contents of soil. Simple correlation and regression analysis was carried out in order to establish the effect of the parameters on one another. It has been observed that pH of soil is positively correlated with ultrasonic velocity. Correlation coefficient was found to be 0.695 at 1% level of significance. However, no correlation found between EC and ultrasonic velocity and organic carbon and ultrasonic velocity. The micronutrients, such as Cu, Fe, Mn and B shows a significant positive correlation with ultrasonic velocity.
