Abstract

COVID – 19 brought about a time of ambiguity and apprehension among the global population. The onset of the Pandemic and application of Lockdown by the Government of India led to increase in the prevalence of stress. Perceived stress is a subject matter that is present extensively in our daily lives and can generate positive and negative outcomes. The outcome of increased perceived stress leads to development of anxiety, depression, and other common mental health problems. The adult population faced maximum pressure with aspects to work-home balance, financial difficulties, maintaining healthy family relationships, and manage child rearing. To keep up with positive development during the pandemic it is vital to adapt to the current pressure for which effective coping is essential.
