MONITORING AND EVALUATION OF EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMES TELECAST IN LIVE MODE

Abstract

This article attempts to describe the concept of monitoring and evaluation and its utilization in discussing the overall aspects of online teaching learning programmes. Under pandemic COVID-19, online teaching learning of school students are found to accomplish by using Swayam Prabha channel in live telecast mode. Efforts of this article are to highlight the management issues, technical aspects and academic perspectives of such teaching learning strategies. Academic perspectives are tinted to encompass the needs of proper introduction about each programme and subject experts before starting discussion.This article also focuses on criteria of content selection, content adequacy, content arrangement, pace of content discussion, etc. Uses of teaching aids such as whiteboard, mercury & duster, graphic, animation and video clips for improving overall understanding of learners are also highlighted in this article. At the end, this article consists of some suggestions concerned to the development of infrastructure facility and improvement of overall teaching-learning strategies.
