The changes in socio economic conditions are changing the scenario of North 24 Parganas at a rapid pace (Biswas, Das & Mandal, 2018). Development of basic need and ensuring the quality of life from both ends is experienced by the beginning of the 20th century (Banerjee & De, 2014). This municipal area has a record of uneven urban growth in a quick succession of time (Kundu et al., 2015). As a result several slums have been established in and around the core urban area of Habra (Patuli, 2011). This results into a net decrease of quality of living of the slum dwellers (Karmakar, 2015). Even the government and other semi government amenities are facing some threat due to rapid uneven growth of slum nowadays (Biswas, 2015). The quality of amenities has been analyzed in this area. Results indicate that the peoples are not satisfied with the services. Apart from these the health, sanitation and maintenance of public places is not well enough in this area. The integrated assessment shows that the slum people are not happy with the facilities provided by the government.
