SYNTHESIS ANTIMICROBIAL AND SPECTRAL CHARACTERIZATION OF NI(II) METAL COMPLEXES DERIVED FROM HETEROCYCLIC SCHIFF BASES

Abstract

Metal complexes of Ni(II) derived from heterocyclic Schiff bases of 2-amino 4,6-dimethyl benzothiazole and a) pyrrole-2-aldehyde b) 3-Methyl Thiophene 2-aldehyde c) pyridine-2-aldehyde d) 2-hydroxy napthylaldehyde e) 2,5-dihydroxy acetophenone have been synthesized. The synthesized complexes have been characeterized by IR, 1H NMR, Electronic, ESR Spectra,TGA, XRD,Molar Conductance and their Magnetic moment.
