Abstract

Dengue is the most common arthropod-borne viral disease and is very prevalent in the tropical and subtropical regions of the world. The Indian subcontinent has undergone significant changes regarding the prevalence of different strains of dengue virus, affected regions, and the severity of illness associated with dengue fever.
