Abstract
In this manuscript, a weak (ψ-φ)generalized hybrid contraction is presented and a fixed point theorem for such contraction is proved in metric spaces. Some existing results of literature are also provided which are direct consequences of our main result. In the end, we shall also provide an example to illustrate our result.
