Abstract
Grain size is a fundamental descriptive measure of sediments .It provides
voluminous information about the intrinsic properties of sediments and their depositional environment. The present study area (TLC) lies in Latur and Osmanabad district of Maharashtra. The analysis clearly establish that the sediments are of medium grain size, moderately sorted, positively skewed and deposited under moderate to low energy conditions with dominant rolling and suspension mechanisms.
